Makita Model Numbers

You should have no trouble spotting your Makita model number. On their power tools, check near the motor air vents. On their lawn equipment, you should look near the recoil housing or on the engine housing. You’ll find your table saw model number on the saw’s base and mitre saws on the motor. The model number will usually appear just to the right of the logo on the identification tag. And because the manufacturer doesn’t use type numbers, you won’t have to worry about figuring out whether you have a Type 1 or Type 2, etc. Therefore, when you search for parts on our site, all you’ll need is the manufacturers model number. Isn’t that convenient?

Ryobi Model Numbers

To ensure compatibility between the parts we sell and the models you own, we'll need to know your Ryobi model number. If you already have this number ready, go ahead and search for parts. Otherwise, you'll need to find this number before you can start shopping.

All Ryobi products have a rating plate that contains both the model and serial number.

The model number is usually located to the right of the Ryobi logo.

The serial number is located in a white box beneath the Ryobi logo on the rating plate. Here’s a general guide to some popular tools and where you can find the model number:

On power tools, you’ll usually see the tags in plain site and they will be easily read.

You may have a bit more trouble with lawn and garden tools, as the location can change depending on the model and when it was made. Manufacturers like to put model numbers out of the way on these tools to prevent them from wearing off. Check around the motor housing and anywhere you may see a warning label or branded tag.

Homelite Model Numbers

Every Homelite product will have an identification tag where you can find your product’s model number. The location of these plates changes depending on the tool you use, but it’s a pretty easy thing to find when you know what you’re looking for.

The white and black plate will have your product’s model number and its serial number as well. It also includes information about your tool’s emissions, power output, size, and more. The number on the left of the tag is the model number. That’s the one you want. The tag should label it as such, with the serial number just to the right of that. Since Homelite doesn’t use tool types, you’ll only need the model number to find Homelite spare parts on our site.

Bosch Model Numbers

We want to make sure that our customers only receive compatible parts for their specific product. We ensure this compatibility by requiring your model number to look up parts. If you already came prepared with this information, go ahead and enter in the search box or search by model category to the right of this section.

If not, you'll need to do a little bit of searching to locate this number. Try looking on the packaging that your product came in or in the owner's manual. If you no longer have these, you can still find this number on the product, itself.

You can find the model number next to the BOSCH logo on the nameplate.
Bosch typically uses 4-5 numbers then 1-2 letters in the model number.

So if you stumble across a “1710A” next to the logo, you’ve found the model number, and you’re ready to start ordering parts. m.
